FWIW, Bet&Win odds at the moment:
    2.60 Jorge Lorenzo (ESP)
    2.60 Daniel Pedrosa (ESP)
    5.50 Valentino Rossi (ITA)
    5.50 Marc Marquez (ESP)

    Six weeks ago it was:
    2.50 Jorge Lorenzo (ESP)
    3.20 Daniel Pedrosa (ESP)
    5.00 Valentino Rossi (ITA)
    5.00 Marc Marquez (ESP)

Yeah, on paper, Pedrosa is 0-7 seasons on the WC tally; but with the form he left 2012 with, and without injury, 2013 is his year.

Will Jorge be running the #1 plate?

I'm unconvinced Dani is going to get there, I really like the guy and his form has been great but I wonder how he will cope with Mark and Vale snapping at his heals. I hope he proves me wrong as I would rather he succeeded than Jorge but I have a suspiscion that if he gets a bit shaken he will back off.

When Pedrosa rose to Moto GP class, there was huge hype and expectations for him. None of that has materialised yet... I see no reason why 2013 would suddenly be his.

From all the team mates he's had, MM must be like a nightmare for him... another Spaniard... 10 times the hype he ever had... I predict fist fights in the honda garage for 2013. I have never seen anything special in Pedrosa, MM however has huge potential.

I think that little howdy doody Spanish guy with the long neck is gonna take the cake this year.

He won 6 of the last 8 races, among other reasons.

I can understand people not being fans of Pedrosa, but not the religious conviction he can't win a WC. I mean, you must be thinking 2.6 odds on Pedrosa winning is a big overestimation -- are you taking advantage of this great opportunity?

Could have been 7, if his crew hadn't messed up on the grid at Misano.

FWIW, I saw a different Dani Pedrosa last year. Much more relaxed, much calmer, much more focused. Much more confident. His body language was different at the races, he stood much taller (insert joke here) than he had in previous years. Barring accident, he can win it all. Marquez is the wildcard here, he is a loose cannon, and fast enough to be wiping people out at the front.

Right on. Wondering about that and if he decided to go against the #1 plate as it's kinda cursed. He has a chance then.

I just hope everyone stays healthy. Mostly Pedrosa. He's been poised to fight for a title a couple of times then broke something. Also Rossi as I think he's going to be balls to the walls all out trying to re-prove himself. Marquez because, well we've seen how aggressive he can ride, and all the hype to live up to. Jorge going all out trying to defend the title.

We'll see. Sad that Ducati hasn't done jack to help out their boys. That whole team is awesome with the exception of Dovi.

There you go. Put down $50 on Rossi and $50 on Marquez. If one wins, you make $175.

But I'm not the one claiming they're undervalued, that's you.

Pirro says to expect the Duc on the podium before the end of the season. He feels they are already making changes in the right direction. We shall see. Sounds good though. :1drink

Really? I think he's done well over the last few years. Not a drama queen and no big podium runs so not a spotlight kid, but pretty consistent 4th-ish guy.

Agree. Don't see the problem with Dovi.

This. He's a tough cookie, but everyone experiences a revelation at the level of competition when they step up to MGP. Gobs of talent, but he will have his work cut out for him from the first flag drop.

Wishful. Not only are they developing a new direction, they are also fighting the 4 best riders in the tourney. Each impeccably equipped. Going to be hard to stay motivated with the brunt of that onslaught slapping you down every single race day.

I hope MM has learned from his first year in Moto@ that he needs to clm down a bit at the early races.

JLo is so consistent but would really like to see Dani win it this year as its probably his last chance. Even Nakamoto was overjoyed with Dani and his comments on how he was a new rider.

Here's to a safe and close racing season this year without any asterisks :clap
