Rich AND happy has always been hard to arrange.
I am glad to see Aleix closer to the front, but I went back and checked. Last year at Sepang in FP3 (I figure that was the last real practice that all the bikes pushed it in) he was 1.6 seconds back, yesterday he was 1.3 secs back from the leader. So it is not like the Yamaha is really much closer to the front then the ART bike was.
Obviously it is day one and everyone will go faster so let's see how the gap changes.
Lots of guys are on brand new bikes, both new to them and new in general. Lots can happen. But I wouldn't expect things to look too different either.
Some more good ones from Krop
Not me. Honest!
Still struggling with no sound......bloody!
The Forward Yamaha is basically an M1 with the spec software. Looks like Yamaha is providing the frame as well as the swingarm and engine, which is different than was announced last year.
The Honda is S.L.O.W.
I predict pneumatic valves by the 5th or 6th race.
The BACK of Rossi'a new skid lid;
That's hilarious wonder what the writing on top says?
How can you call your self a Rossi fanboi?
Good comments from Cal via Matthew Birt
At least some things haven't changed- the Ducati is still a TT
That customer Honda looks like a serious letdown after all the "almost as fast" hype after the Stoner test.
It's almost as if Honda deliberately engineered it to be so slow it couldn't possibly be a threat to their satellite bikes. Almost like they made it sound much faster than it was after the Stoner test.
Enforcing a pecking order with how they allocate their engineering.
Naaa - Honda would never do anything like that.
Would be seriously pissed if I owned a race team and bought one of those turkeys - particularly with the engine allocation limit imposed by Honda.
Give MM a go. I bet it'll be fast again.
I know about the letters on the leathers, if I did hear about this and I probably have, I dont remember it....so whatever
He has had that on his helmet since 1999!
Certainly you can translate tribu dei chihuahua?
This Just In.......Honda to put MM and Pedro on the customer Open Bikes for he last day of the test.
Can you explain the joke to me? I'm not getting it.
