@Kropotkin should be hitting motogp for the VIG! The guy is a one man promotional machine for motorcycle racing.

You and me both. I could either pay Dorna $150 per year, or I could pay my ISP more than twice that to have the upload bandwidth necessary for "other" access.

May as well go legit this year. Just hope Race Direction doesn't shit the bed like 2015.

I've said it many times before but the video pass on MotoGP dot com is one of the best deals going if you calculate dollar per unit of entertainment.... auto renew me for life.

I hope MotoGP's site is up to snuff in the next couple of days.
I was just there this evening wanting to watch some videos. The feed keeps freezing, the voice keeps up.
I have pretty quick cable bandwidth and haven't had this problem before.

That's better than when I checked at lunch today. I wanted to see the price for the video pass, and the site was undergoing repairs. For what costs a years worth of Netflix, that's not exactly confidence inspiring.

Interesting Michelin article on the MotoMatters site.

    Thanks Krop!

Buy the Moto GP feed - it is well worth it - and you are supporting the sport. You get everything and can back and watch a lot of the old races, you get practice, you get qualifying - you get umbrella girls.

Anyone who thinks it isn't worth it has never had it!

I purchased the video pass a month ago or so for the first time. The payment plan is the reason I finally pulled the trigger.

Using the "Videopass" app was a tad disappointing. Videos regularly froze, connection to Chromecast dropped, etc. It wasn't a debilitating problem but I secretly hoped it would improve before the season started.

On the flipside, I purchased the WSBK pass & I can say that sucker works flawlessly. I streamed Phillip Island for 3-4 hrs straight the first evening with nary a problem.

I'm optimistic the problems I had before will be resolved with the new MotoGP app. Time will tell

    - The way the MotoGP site, app, etc. can't recognize you already have the Videopass after you're logged in is & always has been is ridiculous.

    - Charging for live timing? psssh....sod off

I bought the video pass 4 years in a row, last year I just watched the coverage on Be-in, I didn't miss the pass much, if I still had the time and motivation to watch every practice session for Moto2 and MotoGP like I used to it might be a different story.

I am smitten with beIN's coverage, but I allowed my VideoPass subscription to roll over for a fifth year. I do find myself traveling on weekends some times so as long as I can get a good streaming connection I can still watch the races. This year may be my last VP renewal though because it appears I can stream anything that's recorded on my DirecTV DVR for free.

I bought it for a year a few years ago. I don't anymore. The cost of it and the exchange rate just doesn't make financial sense to me anymore.

Without the Motogp pass, we wouldn't have any television coverage (no Bein without paying big bucks). That being said, I have to say that I have had no problem with the feed regardless of when or what I was accessing and I don't have the super internet package from my provider. Wonder if it is country/regiona/ disparity?

Yeah, I swallowed my pride and re-upped for the 6th year. I don't have cable or satellite...or anything so this is the only way I'm gonna see what may be a helluva season.
The only down side for me is mid-summer when I have a choice of riding or sitting in front of the computer like I did all winter. Riding always wins and then I never go back and watch the races, only the highlights after getting the news from MotoMatters.

If I'm out riding during a race weekend, I get the race queued up to download when I get to my destination. A little hotel room takeout and some MotoGP is a great way to cap off a day of riding.
