Wow, great advice. I have been riding 950's (as big dirt bikes) since 2006 and am real familiar with them. I don't own or ride with hard bags ever, but sometimes things just go against you

With the benefit of hindsight, moving my leg sounds like a great idea, but this fall wasn't happening for me any other way.

While commuting home stuck at a light, you see another 950 pull out in the direction your going but you can't quite see what it is. The light turns green and you pin it,shoot the gap in traffic, slide around corners trying to catch up for a better look. and YOU are in your truck.:D

When you go to a MX racetrack and you leave your 1 cilinder racer at home because it is so much fun with the 950.

My 990 is a dirt bike. It barely gets 30mpg where & how it gets ridden.
Yours must be one of the "Adventure Tourers"
I'm betting you've still got your original blinkers, too.

    You know you're a 9X0 DIRTBIKE owner......
..... when you have a box of broken blinker parts bigger than a breadbox :lol3

Crashing is not the same as riding.....:deal

But if it works for you, enjoy! I'm sure your parts supplier loves you.

I think crashing is a part of riding... When you're pushing the limits of anything you're bound to find the edge once and a while. No need to flame anyone for their riding tastes, :) (Oh, and my parts supplier hates me because I pay cost +5 and always do my own work. I'm sure he does too.)

    Cheers!

I ride like you. Always gotta get a (literal) feel for the edge. And the dirt!
