oldest bridge in Australia, located in Richmond Tasmania
Here's a one room jail I saw yesterday on the Switzerland trail in Colorado - I love how it's built into the hillside:
Old bridge (well...used to be anyway), Jotunheimen, Norway
Only 8Km from where I used to live in Barisis Aux Bois, is this great old castle, Coucy le Chateau. It's famously tall donjon was unfortunately a victim of the Great War.
Outside Jackson Hot Springs, Montana!
Looks like you're about to get wet Boojum...:huh
I just did, turn around, and skirt just ahead of that shower!
That's one thing I like about traveling out west,......You can see a shower coming, check your GPS, and actually adjust your speed & outrun that Mo-Fo!
.....and then again, Sometimes you just get SOAKED!
Very nice. Thanks for the effort. Wish I was close enough to take advantage of it! (though as it stands, I can take a virtual ride anytime...)
Hmmmm, I know that rock pile.
Had lunch there once.
Wouldn't be on Ole Ore Rd, would it?
Another from that part of the world.
Cool building. Where is (or was) that?
That was on Ranch Road 505 between Valentine and Marfa TX. That was last year so I guess it is still there.
An old picture of the same tower:
This is a fountain: (fountain of Ahmet the 3rd.)
This was quite of the beaten track when I rode past this old run down stable near the border of North & South Carolina. It was quite a trip getting there , although it was only 100 yards from the main road . Everything was quite overgrown .
