Lets see your pics of you and your bike at a world heritage site.

I apologize if there is already a thread with this theme.

I'll start this off with pics from Drakensburg world heritage site in South Africa.

And finally - the mountain hill railways of India are listed as a WOrld Heritage Site - and this is a picture of a Tuk Tuk (well it's disguised as a Ducati and is nearly a motorbike !) I drove the length of India in - the railway in the background is the line up to Darjeeling from Siliguri

At the Narrows Lock, eastern Ontario. The Rideau Canal http://www.rideau-info.com/canal/index.html was declared a World Heritage site in 2007. It runs for 125 miles between Kingston (Lake Ontario) and Ottawa (Ottawa River) and was designed to provide a safe way for travel between Montreal and Ottawa, avoiding the American border.

The defensible block house in the picture was part of the defenses along the canal. They never saw action and we're still free, so it must have worked!
