Funny question. As I went and looked at new tents I realized that my bivvy was actually bigger than a one person tent. I had many sentimental reasons for holding on to the bivvy but finally bought a tent last year. The rest of that load is all spare fuel and water, 4 gallons of fuel and 2 gallons of H2O. Put a camel tank on my new bike. That picture is from a 2 week trip from Denver to Portland. I have slimmed down a great deal since then.

Nice 1100S, I have an option to buy a super clean '91. The only problem is it's red which I don't really like, looks like I could get it for $5K. It was my dream bike for years.

Very north eastern part of the Great Salt Lake, just off the Transcontinental Railroad grade. Bike is still up on the railroad grade. Buddy got a flat at 3:30 pm. So I just set up camp early. Mosquitos were the size of hummingbirds.

Forgive the two off topic pics to complete the stage. The best campsite I had on my trip from WA to FL...Wahoo Bay on Fort Gibson Lake, Oklahoma. Free and peaceful. Could hear the fish jumping in the lake all through the night.

The pic of the bike and the tent doesn't say much...
