Its just a basic Decathlon tarp
I don't need no stinkin tent. But waking up with a head full of mosquito bites kinda sucks. Near Calleo, UT
If your sleeping in a bivy why are you carrying all the luggage ?!!!

Funny question. As I went and looked at new tents I realized that my bivvy was actually bigger than a one person tent. I had many sentimental reasons for holding on to the bivvy but finally bought a tent last year. The rest of that load is all spare fuel and water, 4 gallons of fuel and 2 gallons of H2O. Put a camel tank on my new bike. That picture is from a 2 week trip from Denver to Portland. I have slimmed down a great deal since then.

Nice 1100S, I have an option to buy a super clean '91. The only problem is it's red which I don't really like, looks like I could get it for $5K. It was my dream bike for years.

Very north eastern part of the Great Salt Lake, just off the Transcontinental Railroad grade. Bike is still up on the railroad grade. Buddy got a flat at 3:30 pm. So I just set up camp early. Mosquitos were the size of hummingbirds.
West Marsh Lake, northern slope of the Uinta Mountains, 9,400 feet elevation, northern Utah.
Bear Lake, northern Utah.
Both bikes same tent. The Tiger on the Mogollon Rim the WR450 at Harquahala Peak. Tent is a Wal-Mart Youth tent. $19, four years, 30,000 miles and many trips. Currently in the Kingman, AZ landfill.
