One of our rally stops this past weekend... Camp Shelby ranges, South Mississippi...
Oh man Camp Shelby! My folks live in Purvis, and all threw the 80's into the early 90's Shelby was single track HEAVEN! Now its NO MORE I hear! Sucks big time.
We held a rally in DeSoto National Forest (for past 2 years) and got permission from Shelby to ride tank trails and heavy vehicle test tracks. But both of the years, the Forest Ranger disagreed with our "permission" to be there. Last year our leader got a ticket, this year a rider fell and broke a leg, and we ran into the Spanish inquisition and all kinds of threats and harassment. Guess we will have to find somewhere else to rally next fall...
