Here's my Friday night camp last weekend. Had the campground almost all to myself so I pretended to be in one of the desolate exotic locales you folks offer up.
a few years back when i visited my wife (then girlfriend) out in wyoming. rode from central IL to to the Tetons for the 4th of july weekend.

Camped on top of the 400 year old Portuguese fort at Balibó, Timor Leste.
The blue tent tent is a little small but the zippered opening on the side is great! No more wondering around in the middle of the night.
Dinosaur national monument, Echo park... not easy to get to for sure but one of the places and roads i will never forget and i hope to get back to.
