Oh, what the hell..... Spain June 1971, definitely not ATTGAT.
I had 10,000 square acres to myself: saw deer, bats, hawks, bullfrogs, salamanders, and found a farm. Canoed and hiked, saw bear dung, listened to a pack of wolves while I was trying to sleep, and cooked with a 30 year old camping stove. Bumped into a German guy while hiking who understood my German enough to invite me to a German Wedding!
My Sierra Design CD Flashlight tent. 2-man and about 5 lbs with footprint and rainfly. Not one drop of water got in despite a night of pouring rain.
And on the 8th day, G_d invented titanium sporks.

While canoeing, I discovered a small island covered with wild blueberries! I think I ate 1,500!

Mojave Desert emergency rest stop, too tired to keep going... so we pulled off of I-15 and slept right in the sand next to the bikes

I think I need to get out and do more non-established park camping!! all these shots of you guys out and in the wilderness look great!

Ya the primitive camping definitely has it's advantages!
Well I've only camped once on the bike and it was at the BMW Rally in VT.

Camping sucks. Packed up and back on the road is where it's at for me.
That all depends on how good an air mattress ya got.
