That would be my fav too if it was mine.
Sand brought it to its knees, but bike still on top of it.
That would be a b*tch to lift by one's self.
Having been in a similar situation, it's really not that bad. Spin 'er on the cylinder head in the other direction and you don't have to lift it too far. Getting up the incline the rest of the way is the tough part.
Point it downhill and start again from the bottom
That's what I did, except then I decided I had enough and headed out... but it was entertaining...

Probably more Suzuki GSs made than BMW I'd guess.
I had that very model of GS750E. Bought it used in about '86. Rode it for 3-4 years. Great bike.
4 cyl, shaft drive, triple discs, adj suspension frt & rear.... and reliable as a hammer!!! The complete UJM!!!
