Sorry, China not Taiwan. Either way not a good thing.

I have the article from Dave Robb where he spoke about aprilia making the 650 single. He must have meant designed by, with Rotax making them, as those two have a decent history together.

Nobody is biting, so let me be the first one to ask: is this your garage?

Don't I wish. :lol3 Uh no, that's the delivery area at Motocorsa in Portand. It really made the experience special. My one car garage is more modest, much much more modest.

    Wanna switch? :lol3

I like that retro, sat on one at the dealer and it felt nice.

CATM is good to go! I an one of those folks that would actually like that job, but I get to play with a fair number of toys as it is seeing how I usually go out with the "special" boys. ;) Here is a pic that was taken last May in Bamyan province, just down the road from where the giant Buddha statues used to be.

It's this kind of sentiment that makes it an honor to do so.

Do these count? Much of them are Italian but the engines came from Japan....

I found a source. Rotax made the motors, while aprilia actually assembled the bikes. I have to find the original article I had. It wasn't Dave Robb (BMW design chief) but the R&D guy. Can't remember his name.

Hell yes they count. If they don't then neither do a lot of Bimota's, and that just wouldn't be right!

Great thread going here... but it needs more Laverda :)

Here's my '79 Laverda 1200. I bought it in '98 (5th owner) and have put just over 65,000 km on it. It's not the fastest or sexiest Laverda out there, but it fits me like a favourite T-Shirt and never seems to let me down. It's my one bike that will likely never be for sale

My wife stated riding a few years back on this '83 Moto Guzzi V65 a lovely bike for sure. Still upset that we sold it

She now rides a Duc M695

My latest acquisition is a Husqvarana TE610... gets me into way too much trouble off-road :)

I've got 30 miles on it. I sat on it this morning in my garage as another passing shower went through. Like yesterday. :bluduh

Here's my oldest son and I sometime last century heading out to the first Italian Bike Nite I ran. I have larger pictures of the bikes (83 LMIII, and 92 900SS) somewhere, and will post them when I can find them.
