Heading out for a 3 day ride last month.
The rain had pushed some of the creek crossings up a bit.
Late August coming back from AK
Every mountain pass had something liquid stored for me
Can anyone guess where my rainy photo's were taken?
This was a long day in rain and mud... 8 hours for 100 km!

Rainy Seattle weather
I rode through quite a bit of rain on my 2009, Pony Express Trail adventure. In Wyoming, southwest of Casper on Rt. 220, I pulled over for a photo.
The rain photo I did not get was at a rest stop on I-25 south of Albuquerque. I found myself in a thunderstorm, and pulled over to wait it out. In the meantime, the wind picked up violently, and I was standing next to the bike, holding it up, wind and rain pelting me. I was perfectly dry inside my gear, but it must have been quite a sight to the guy that pulled into the parking spot next to me. His jaw dropped. I just smiled. What else ya gonna do.
oh my god :eek1
and nobody there to help ???
Actually, yes! But after waiting for an hour! And then, a second fall, another long wait and then a final fall, a longer wait! Ended up driving really slow to avoid dropping it again...
Great memories but what a day it was!

Ride on and get wet.
far '05year, april
300 miles to home
In only ten minutes we were wet to the skin by a ice cold mountain rain. I barely had time to put the rain-cover over the tail bag and to run for cover.
