i'm rollin' in from star valley.....be there about burger time.:dg
after errands are run...
you may win the furthest ride-in!
big thanks to dillon and mike for putting on the shindig! saw some folks i haven't seen for a while, had good food and took home some cool swag!
plus, i've talked myself into getting those tiny little led lights that put out 495 lumens. :eek1
thanks to dillon and mike for a great time, and a great raffle prize
i really like those little lights too.
I sense a night ride in the works!
you bet! i've never done it before. k.i.s.s. for my first one.
and thanks again for the tender!
sheeps bridge is a good break in ride, the dust is definately an issue at night though
I would like to try something like Wildcat in the dark. Even some of the milder Sycamore trails. I don't have a lot of experience riding in the dark though, so easier is probably best for an intro.
No problem on the tender! Just glad you can use it!
The Crown King loop might be fun in the dark too. I'll have to fix the HID on the 530 or look into other (LED!) options.
I can lead a night ride through Buckhorn if there is any interest and then back Castle Hot Springs. This would be a big bike ride.
thanks for the free food and swag. i had a good ride out to the event and an even better ride home. went up to globe and back down to tucson, ill be ready for those new tires soon!
Things look so very different at night when all you can see is where the headlight is shining. I was not sure I was on the right road a time or two just running 7 springs to BB. I like the idea of a relatively contained loop like CK so we don't lose anyone.
There was a raffle? Blind as a bat I tell ya... sheesh.
Night ride backway to cc? Then down fronside on way back? Im in... done it before its fun at night.
Up the backway and down Ryland creek sounds more interesting
I sounds like a Plan. Let's do it.
I'm in for that when I get my lighting figured out!
