Anybody know what happened to the Zumoforum.com site? And I apologise if this isn't the right adv forum for the question.

Noting - it is still there.

To access it, you might spell it properly.

    Use an 's'.

I'll bet you meant "nothing" and it's not still there, even when spelled correctly. Do you have a link that works?

Weird. Several of my buds can get it on their computers, but when I try to access the site, either with my laptop or desk top, MS/IE or netscape 8.0 I get the following error:

Database Error: MySQL server has gone away
    File: /home/wallyjar/public_html/zumoforums/Sources/Security.php
Line: 275Database Error: MySQL server has gone away
    File: /home/wallyjar/public_html/zumoforums/Sources/Load.php
    Line: 2025

Both laptop and desktop, of course, are networked to the same embarq account. Maybe Embarq and Garmin are in the midst of a cat fight . . .

All I wanna do is retrieve routes and waypoints from the card upon which I write 'em with my laptop. I've tried *.gpd and *.gpx. If I could just get to zumoforums.com, I could get 'motorcycle mamma' to help out (after a bit of abuse) but no soap. Oddly enough, the Zumo perks right up and offers to retrieve pictures from the card, but neither routes nor waypoints.

I was on the Zumo site last month and the site was for sale and said they were going to shut down if a buyer wasn’t found. If you try to logon to the site now it looks like some sort of maintenance recovery situation. I will keep checking as it was a useful forum.

It was a more complicated procedure ten years ago when the data was chiseled into stone tablets.

I was serious (but I like your humor!) about needing a forum to discuss drag/drop. :-)

the question mark was because I'm think headed and probably missed something
