Zumo Mount Security bolt

    Does anyone know if you can source the little security bolt for Garmin Zumo mounts? i have lost two now, i dont really want to spend $100 on a new mount and didnt see them listed on Garmins website

    i think you can get a security screw that is non standard & can be tightened by finger from someone on this forum. Tried a quick search but didn't find anything. The "secure" part of the screw is that it stops the cradle flipping open if you hit a large bump, not that it stops it getting stolen. Try some ZUMo forums.

    thanks pete, its the off road bumps that concern me, and the zumo flying out whilst moving, if ever i leave the bike unattended i take the zumo out of the cradle

    tried there but you have to log in & i used to but that was a few years back ...........& my memory just ..............isn't there anymore ...............& I can't remember .....................my log in name ..................or password

    what were we talknig about again:scratch

    about the hundreth time this week for that smiley but just seemed appropriate every time

    just register a new name

    you order them off a guy on zumoforums

    they arrive in about a week and cost about 12 bucks or so
