The AIMExpo (American International Motorcycle Exposition) returns to Columbus, Ohio this year.  Hosting the event is the Greater Columbus Convention Center.  Show dates are Thursday, September 26 through Sunday, September 29, 2019.

Powersports industry expo

The AIMExpo is a four-day powersports industry exposition.  It embraces all areas of the motorcycle and powersports industry.  The show is only open to trade and media on Thursday and Friday.  But Saturday and Sunday will be open to both consumer and trade attendees.

2019 sees the introduction of AIMExpo Outdoors.  It will be the event’s home of street and off-road demos.  AimExpo Outdoors will be open to all attendees all four days of the event.

Show floor re-imagined

AIMExpo has re-imagined the show floor.  Neighborhoods have been designed around individual powersports lifestyles.

  • “The Camp” features two and four-wheel off-road and adventure enthusiasts.
  • “The Alley” is oriented towards Street, Urban and Sport riders.
  • “The Shop” covers the V-Twin, Cruiser and Custom riding segments.

These neighborhoods will let visitors quickly find their area of interest(s) and will exhibit the vehicles, parts, gear, and accessories that best fit each neighborhood type.

More than powersports

In addition to the powersports related exhibits, AIMExpo has even more.  Guests can also find specialty brews, coffee and, music.   Industry experts will also host “shop talks” where guests can discuss all sorts of powersports topics.

AIMExpo says that additional features/events will be available.  They will be highlighting these features at a later date.  However, they do say that visitors can expect wide-ranging events.  Events such as demo rides, a race night, and a custom bike show/competition.
