Non-profit organizations Mottorad Angels and Backcountry Discovery Routes (BDR) have teamed up to help bring clean water, and other life-saving assistance to those who need it. To date, Motorrad Angels have Chapters in 29 countries. They are working to extend Motorrad Angel’s aid to other parts of the world.
So far, Motorrad Angels have chalked up over 612 Angels have ridden over 76,000 miles, completed 95 projects and positively impacted the lives of over 610,000 people.
To bring awareness to Motorrad Angel’s work, BDR riders Dennis Godwin and Chad Warner will undertake a significant adventure ride. They will endeavor to ride all 9 of the BDR routes in one month or less. Dennis and Chad know quite a bit about adventure riding. Dennis represented the US in the BMW Motorrad GS Trophy in 2016 and has been riding for 40+ years. Chad has been a motocross racer and has nearly 40 years of riding experience. Both are experienced Iron Butt competitors who will use their skills in their attempt to accomplish their ride.
Motorrad Angels have set a $50,000 fundraising goal for their next mission. They have pledged that 100% of all funds received will go directly to community-based charity projects.
