The Touratech DirtDaze Adventure Rally is moving in 2020. After 2019’s wildly successful event in Pomfret, Vermont, Christian Dutcher, DirtDaze’s head honcho made a difficult decision. He has decided to move the event to a location with more capacity.
ADVRider.com learned today that the 2020 edition of the DirtDaze Rally will be held at the North Haverhill Fairgrounds in North Haverhill, NH from 20 to 23 August 2020. The fairgrounds offer much more space and even more ADV riding opportunities.
2020 DirtDaze larger than ever.
According to Dutcher, this year’s DirtDaze will be larger than ever. The North Haverhill Fairgrounds have easily hosted large events. The New Hampshire facility has much more covered space and the capability to handle many more people.
One of the other key reasons for moving DirtDaze is that the Fairgrounds offers far more available camping and services. The Fairgrounds have significantly more tent space as well as RV hookups with 20 and 30 amp service.
Manufacturers and vendors
With this increased capacity, the 2020 edition of DirtDaze will host more OEM manufacturers and vendors than in 2019. Once again, the OEM’s will offer demos of their newest machines. That’s a good thing because the area around North Haverhill provides some excellent terrain that will enable riders to get a feel for each machine’s capabilities.
If you are into group rides, DirtDaze will again host both on and off-road guided rides. There will be rides for all levels of ability. Some will be easy, while those up for a challenge can test their skills on more difficult terrain.
If you’d like to hone your skills with professional instruction, at least one adventure riding training school will be onsite providing training for different ADV levels.
If you are interested in attending, registration opens mid-March. We’ll keep you in the loop as more details emerge.
