Americade’s organizers are already planning for Americade 2021. And, they have set June 7 – 12, 2021 for the 38th annual motorcycle rally held in Lake George, NY.
According to Christian Dutcher, Americade’s director, interest for 2021’s event is very high. He believes 2020’s many event cancelations are driving that interest.
“Interest in Americade 2021 is very high because so many 2020 events were canceled, and we are expecting a huge Americade 2021. Naturally, COVID-19 may have a say in this, and if we need to push Americade later, then we would postpone
until later in the year.” – Christian Dutcher, Americade director
Unfortunately, Americade 2020 was postponed and ultimately canceled due to COVID. With this in mind, organizers are carefully considering all safety measures. Particularly those measures put in place by state and federal health agencies. They say that these precautions are at the forefront of planning for 2021.
“We created a touch-less Americade 2020, which would have made the event a model for how to run a large event during COVID-19. We plan on doing the same in 2021 if needed. It’s simply a safer way to run an event.” – Christian Dutcher, Americade director
Americade is nearly four decades old. Its organizers say that they offer the best guided and unguided rides in the Northeast. In addition, they claim to have the most factory demos of any motorcycle event in the US. And, the event features AMERICADEXPO, the largest concentration of motorcycle vendors in a single location at one time.
