2011, advertised as a 2010, has the closed chamber forks, 4,500k. Fantastic knick.<br />
<br />
Cush hub, actually he purchased a complete wheel, excel rim etc so have a spare wheel.<br />
<br />
Akrapovic muffler, Cycra handguards, spare new fuel pump, complete set of new spare plastics, rad guards, 10 pos map switch, virtually new tyres, sprockets, chain etc, spare range of sprockets.<br />

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[Seems like this was an issue on the old 950/990 and some 1190&#039;s.  I didn&#039;t see much mention of clutch slave failure on the 1290&#039;s for whatever reason.<br />

I&#039;m not having any issues with my 17&#039; 1290SAR w/10k miles, but I am curious if there is any reliability benefit to replacing the clutch slave with an Oberon or other aftermarket unit.  I&#039;ve been preemptively addressing known failure points (gas cap lid, fuel line disconnect, etc.) and am wondering if the clutch slave is worth worrying about.]]></content:encoded>

I know the tensioners are spring loaded with oil pressure assist. I know the left tensioner drains when the engine is stopped due to the cylinder pointing down.  That explains the clacking upon start up.  I know there is an upgraded left tensioner with a check valve incorporated to prevent draining. I started out with idle jet #27,5 (as they were used on another Guzzi before I bought them) but the rpm’s would increase as I turned the mixture screw out. I could even screw it all the way out. But it still does this with a size 40 idle jet. The weird thing is I can’t get the idle down with throttle stop. I can turned it all the way out and it will run away by turning the mixture screw. I always thought they were gimmicky, without ever seeing one. Why would I want to climb on the roof of my truck to sleep?<br />
<br />
Well I went to an outdoor show yesterday and a local dealer had a few setup.  Cooler than fuck and ranged from 2300 (Canadian) to 2900.<br />
<br />
They also had a 270° awning for 600.<br />
<br />
I&#039;m really fighting now with not purchasing both...<br />

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[Lately, I have just been firing up Garmin BaseCamp uploading a random route to my GPS and heading out.  Almost all are solo rides but once in a while a buddy may join.  And most routes are 80% unpaved dirt farm roads.  I create the routes a few days in advance so on the actual ride day I have no idea what roads I had chosen.  It feels less planned that way and adds to &#039;the adventure&#039;.       <content:encoded><![CDATA[Bit of an issue: two weeks ago I did some offroading. I went through some pretty deep mud pools and the bike got hot for sure. Otherwise everything is fine, didn&#039;t fall off or anything.<br />

It seems like the bike turns itself on when the key is out and on steering lock. The lights will flicker occaisionally and even the dash might come on at completely random intervals (or not at all). When I park it and turn the alarm on, this will trigger it to go off, sometimes repeatedly, but not...<br />

I top out at about 53 mph indicated on flats, so about 50 mph true. I weigh about 165 lbs, so I am not a huge guy. Is this the speed I can expect out of this bike? It seems slow for the size. I started a blog in 2014 about my 2006 Vespa GT (Rocket) and our adventures.<br />

The scooter collection has grown, but Rocket remains the favorite so the name remains.<br />
