I don't have any pictures but there are already plenty of good examples in this thread. I used to live in Trenton, Ontario where there are two "on a stick".

There is a F-86 Sabre in Golden Hawk trim right outside the Dunc McDonald Memorial Arena and Centennial Park. The other one, a CF-5 Freedom Fighter, is just north of the Holiday Inn at Highway of Heroes 401.

Also, CFB Trenton is home to the National Air Force Museum of Canada where there are many Canadian and foreign makes on ground display.

The remains of this plane are in the sticks as opposed to on a stick.

I had a heck of a time getting there and had to walk from here.

    Looks like a PB-Y Catalina.

What's the story on that one?

I fly over it every now and again and it looked like there were some roads/trails that were fairly close to it so I headed up there day on my shiny new bike. Apparently it crashed years ago while water bombing. It is also the site of a geocache.

    Interesting:

This is a Canso, about 25 mile NE of Sioux Lookout.
Mark Stachowiak had seen and photographed it while flying by, he returned for a closer look and better pictures...
Mark wrote: "the lake is called Jackson Lake, it's about 6 miles S of Adamhay Lake (Top NE corner of the Large Lac Seul); I took these pictures in Oct.2006."

    C-GFFJ is a Canso PBY-6A, it has c/n 2066.

N6456C was obtained by Flying Fireman Ltd of Sidney,BC in June 1980; registered as C-GFFJ and flown as tanker 9.

It crashed and was destroyed during water pick-up at Sioux Lookout, Ontario on 12 Jul 81.

There's a bunch of farmers at Fairview Alberta that recovered a Canso
in the NWT. They're in the process of restoring itand hope to have it flying in the next couple of years.

The recovery was quite a process as it was sitting on the shore of a lake for a
    bunch of years.

If you've been to any recent airshows, you've probably seen this one. Belongs to Vintage Wings in Gatineau.
