Used to ride MAVT events, but now that I'm in the sunny south, I ride ITSA events. Fun bunch, campfires on Saturday nights are great social events, often a couple guys get out some guitars and other instruments. Also, Scottish style sections, no splits, ride 'em as they lay.
In MI, IN and OH it is Michigan-Ontario Trials Assn. See motatrials.org . A great bunch of riders who will help anyone and everyone no matter what you ride. The areas are largely in central lower MI, Windsor Ont. and Northern Indiana just added the Michiana club. Come ride with us. AMA rules but your AHRMA or ITSA bike is also welcome. Norton 73 I was at Dickson for NATC the last wk of September. Were you there on a twinshock? That was one tough trial after all that rain... Ginder always puts on a great event.
Norton 73 there just are not enough wknds to do everything. U missed a great trial. Big Bartons Creek was Big Bartons RIVER after all that rain. Great fun though. A tough trial for a MI flatlander... Bob loves to test us.
Bob certainly makes a challenging trial, but it's all kinds of fun. Soon there will be a thread on my latest build. Bob made the frame mods, I'm going to build a hot rod motor, hopefully I'll use it to compete against modern bikes as well as ITSA events. M158 frame with M159 motor.

Hi Since I see you have at least 2 Huskys... I thought I would put the owrk out. In the early 80's there was one factory produced Husqvarna Trials bike that made it's way to the USA. It was ridden by a Husqvarna employee.. (me) for 6 months then sold to one of the dealers in the new Orleans area. We are now trying to locate that bike for Husqvarna Museum in Huskvarna, Sweden. ITSA The International Twin Shock Association is devoted to twinshock trials. They cover anything twinshock, air cooled, drum brake. That covers the very old to the very creative.
