two stroke forum....sounds groovy.....

That has not stood out to my attention but I'll pay closer attention. Seems a like a separate forum for a distinct type of engine would facilitate the flow of information about that type of engine. To me, a thumper is a single jug four stroke engined bike with a distinctive feel and sound. A two stroke is no thumper.

Old school 2 strokes are still fun to ride and very dependable.. I have put 175K miles on my 2 GT750 Suzukis in the last 6 years.. Here is a link to a story that my wife and I did on our 20th anniversary... We covered almost 8K miles in 22 days touring.. Even went to Sturgis during the rallly.. If you go to www.flickr.com/gt750 there are all the pictures from the ride.. I have done several Ironbutt rides with the bike to include the BBG 1500+ miles in 24 hours, and the 50cc coast to coast ride in 47 hours.. The biggest problem with them now is the lack of parts when your on the road, so I carry a lot of extras just in case.. Rarely need anythoing though...

I've seen a number of folks in the thumper forum express the opinion that 2-strokes do not belong there.

Oh I am really liking this, the interest is here, I go to another site for just 2 smokes, but it is not very lively like it is here, like I need some carbs I did not ask here, why it would be berried (buried) under the hey what oil for my K/9 or what ever they are, I love them, but our needed info gets lost in the air

I vote for a 2 stroke forum. I have a 73 T 500 and a 75 TS 250.

Being the owner of a Honda MB5, I would like to see a 2 stroke section as well.

Hey...I have a really nice front rim off of a water buffalo. It is from the drum brake TLS design if anybody needs one.

I took the hub to build a Triton a few years back.

Well if you have the money everything's for sale. But no one will cough up what it would take to separate me from that one. It's an easy $5K just as an RZ. Now here's the real value to me. First of all my ex bought it for me. Second it was owned by Rodney Farris. Third it's a former landspeed record holder with my fat azz on it. Fourth it was ported by Ed Erlenbach owner of the 165 MPH RD400.

For those who want to see a 4LS Buffalo

I bought this one to use the 4LS (front brake) on another project.
Due to the low build numbers of this bike using the 4LS I have decided
to do something else and leave this one intact.
