Had the pleasure of riding single track up in Flagstaff this weekend with Nightstalker. There will be more to come from him, but wanted to get the thread started.

Nightstalker likes the 4-stroke...I like the 2-smoke for single track.

Great pics guys. Looks like you had a blast. How many miles were you able to cobble together?

From now on, no rides when I'm working, OK?:lol3

OK, lent my still/video camera to a gal who went to Hawaii for her wedding/honeymoon. So, had to create a video from stills. After all, Nightstalker never gets featured.

I'm also curious about the mileage for the ride. Or rather, how many laps did you guys do? :lol3 Were you able to get into anything fairly technical? There is an area in there that used to be open to motorcycles that had some good rock features and super-tight turns. I only ever rode that stuff on a pedal bike though. There is a lot of cool stuff up there if you don't mind pedaling! :evil

We got 30 miles in. There isn't a decent big loop so we did a lot of crisscrossing where we had been, but there was some pretty rocky tight stuff as you described Allen. A bit of off-camber. Nothing super steep. For the most part, the scenery and temps were really welcome. We only came across 2 other motos but lots of MTB's.

It was over 30 miles. Did some doubling back, but not much. I was experiencing some difficulties breathing over 8000 feet. The Honda ran great! I did drop from a 160 main jet to a 155.

Some of the trails were well marked and some of the stuff we found ourselves on was not marked either at all.

Nice video. I see the butterfly around your handle bars at the start... your such a nature lover. Great view when you had the camera turned and your filming the guys riding behind you. Is most of the terrain pretty flat?
