Smoky Mountain Meadows? The owner there gave me the impression he and a group of folks were involved in trail maintenance and riding in the area. That was last year sometime, and maybe I didn't get the whole picture.

I stayed there on the way home from Alabama one year, pretty good experience.

Yeah, I've been by it many times, Cuttle told me last nite that one of the guys is a rider. When I'm back up this summer Ill go over and get more info on the trail situation, and offer to help out. Id love me some single track over here. The owners weren't around and Marvin was busy with a couple new RV arrivals so I didn't want to pester him.

and that's exactly what it would be... a bunch of little individual get-togethers (sp?). The place is great, but I am afraid it would turn into a MMM

200 in one big pile is a bit much at times. At BB we have the upper and lower split. I never ventured down to the lower section because of the hillclimb and distance.

I still think we should try it once, if you can secure BB for 2018. I know that could be a problem.

It would allow space for folks to attend that would never make the haul up to BB.

Seeing as how I have been employed as a professional toilet flushing research and development technician, I can say from scientific research that folded toilet paper plugs traps much easier that wads of paper do. You see, the folded paper doesn't unfold as the water pulls it through the trap and it turns into a semi solid. Whereas the wadded stuff actually "unwads" and comes apart a bit as it passes through the trap. Yes, we used clear toilet traps and high speed cameras to see it.

    Toilets are serious business.

My research has proven wadding can sometimes lead to poo on finger. So there.

I loved Black Bear! We do a group of 50 ish camp-out at smoky meadows (in 2 weeks) and they are good people,10$ a night in the field(group) site,,,, delivered our wood every night at sundown. That field does turn into a hot desert after 10am or so, you wish for a site on the fringes if you are a late Hungover! sleeper. The local neighbors did send warnings about speed thru the area/as is expected... Party On!
