We heard about that one from a couple on the hydro plant tour yesterday. That's the one we'll be looking for tonight.

Let us know what you find. Gary and Beth splurged for a hotel room and hot showers in Churchill Falls last night. Nice to meet them in their journey. Enjoy the ride.

Gray Creek Pass open as of June 23, 2017 according to Gray Creek Store site. Human intervention speeded the opening.

    HI Folks

Been awhile since i posted here but we've been busy scouting TCAT REV xx trails here in NB and NS.
Today i rode 85 miles of the South East of New Brunswick {IN blue ] and only encountered a small amount of planned connection trails that were not multi-use. New to me is the go pro vid clips i just need to get uploaded until then... a few snap of today in the Harrison Mountain area .

I can't zoom in on the map to see where you went but mother's side of the family is from there. Not sure what state it's in now but there's a rail bed from my grandparent's that runs to Havelock. You probably want to head towards Adair's and Martin Head though

Do you think 2up would play through there? Hitting the east coast in a couple of months

I thought a bit about the Hillsborough railway but even on Mondays scouting..there was no 4x4 vehicle signs posted at different ends of the railbed that the gravel roads crossed,,

Adair's will be in the zone.. , Martin's head will be a waypoint for anyone wanting to explore ...on the Sussex end of the posted track the gpx will swing more to the Fundy park boundary for a bit {left} to soak up some of the many Albert county scenery vantage spots.

The criteria is for loaded big bike doable .. in my own opinion laying a loaded bike on its side on a low speed /slow motion tip over is a different animal than with a passenger..

There are a few spots from Monday that just a loaded bike would have a rider feathering the clutch in 1st .. to stay in control on some of the steeper rockier terrain. ..all that being said ...
The route would be ridden by Ted before endorsed or distributed on gravel travel ... there may or may not be a trail filtering process at that stage.. :-)

Thanks! I have the file I received about 8 months ago and plan to use part of the east trails to go to and from the east coast.

    Hey team!
I'm back, I'm going to be able to ride (part) of the TCAT in July! (Finally got some leave from work).

I'll be grabbing it in Western B.C. somewhere and heading East. I'd be looking to set out on the 7th/8th.

As I'll be riding up from Seattle, is there a good spot I should hit the trail? I only have about 10 days, so I want head straight to the good stuff!

    Time to prep the bike!

Has anyone recently ridden the Ontario portion of the trail? Here in Michigan we have been getting TONS of rain such spots that normally are dry, are now standing water. Im wondering how the TCAT in Ontario has fared?

I've done about half of it this year. Not too bad, a few areas where water levels were a bit higher than normal. Most of the route takes gravel bottomed trails and roads so they drain quickly after heavy rains.

How many beaver dams have you found Ted?:lol3

I guess I'm going to have to run the T'Rail one of these days to verify the condition, that or take RTWPaul's when he rides it in a couple of weeks.
