My son James after becoming a paraplegic in a motorcycle accident, had a long battle with the establishment here in Australia trying to get full access to ride a Canam Quad on the road and in the bush, he couldn't beat them but now he has, enter the Africa Twin DCT.
James is back on two wheels with full freedom to ride anywhere and he made all the mods himself.

If anyone wants to see how a departure day looks like to continue rtw travel, this is it. Packing after over a year of riding and living in New Zealand. Getting back on the road on a motorcycle which I've spent rebuilding for over half a year. Soon we'll fly to South America.

That is beyond awesome! I couldn't stop smiling the whole way through.
Does he have plans to create a way to take his chair with him?

Very inspirational! Congratulations to your son for overcoming those obstacles. I work with people with "disabilities" and can't wait to show them this video (if i can have your permission to do so). Also, I have a friend who was a downhill MTB racer who became paraplegic after a crash, then later returned to the mountains on a custom-built off-road downhill racing wheelchair; not on 2 wheels, but he hauled ass on that thing and rode it down Black Diamond trails that I would not dare try on my MTB!
