    Gosh you guys are ruthless!

It appears to be a very clean Guzzi; with many extras... Wet pavement: Water. FD would not pattern like that and perhaps even if unsophisticated as some about marketing his bike...maybe he washed the bike..

That is a good price for a solid bike that should be fun to run...

But of course I could be wrong... :jack

    Phil

Ps...Check the bikes he has/had; he knows Italian

I hear ya Phil...I doubt it is the CARC leaking. I'm just joking about the guy being a marketing doofus...sort of. :augie

    Mud,

I kinda of guessed that you were 'tongue-in-cheek'....Always thought the Guzzi was an under-rated bike...but then again I drank the BMW kool aid! [Before buying another Yamaha]....

Good lord. I had two friends and three sets of golf clubs in my 92 Metro once. We could barely make it up my driveway in 1st gear. Of course I got 50mpg so I was able to hide the tears when people pointed and laughed at me.

I loved my Geo Metro that I had back in the 90s. I still wish I would have kept it and somehow kept it running with the gas mileage that thing got. Great commuter.

I owned two Geo Storms, both the small motor. It was a fun car, but I wish I had the DOHC 1.8 instead of that SOHC 1.6. Both ended up blowing head gaskets around 150k, and neither was worth repairing at that point. (Needed struts and tie rods and a bunch of other crap too)

I sold mine to my dad who sold it to a co-worker. Last I heard it had over 300k on it. Other than not being cool enough for a kid to drive I liked that thing.

I had two Geo Storms with the SOHC 1.6L, and both of them blew the head gasket around 150k miles. Both red, both 1990s. Both needed struts really, really bad. :)

So rare it can't see daylight but thankfully freshly smeared with Nu Finish anyway.

Yeah, but it does have ugly bodywork, so that much is accurate.

I rode one a long time ago. The fork was extended an inch or two (Vetter's idea, IIRC) and made the handling wonky. Styling aside the bike was unremarkable.
