I'll be delayed a day or two on getting shipping prices to yall.... Nate stole my power from Sat afternoon until late last night. I was a decidedly boring storm, but watching the neighbors prep made one do a little prep as well.

COS 1977 or 78 CB550 engine, wiring harness, and carbs. This came out of a crashed bike with a bent frame. I need the room for another project. Located in Cary, NC. Well I hate to do it, but if not claimed by 1/5/18 this is going to the scrap yard. Someone please save this engine. cb550 engine.jpg

    Yamalube gone.
COS or local pick up. I have 2 odd ducks for restorers or collectors.

First is a Yamaha Owners Warranty Guide. Book came with a 1974 DT 250, publish date is 1973. This is something I would like to see go to someone restoring a '74 vintage Yamaha. It does not appear to be model specific. It is in very good condition, slight smudges from handling. No writing in it.

Next is a can of Yamalube 2 stroke oil for injection. It also hails from 1974, it was bought with the same DT 250. It is somewhat beat up, I assume it was thrown in the truck every time they took the bike somewhere. It is however an old school foil oil can unopened. I did not try to clean it. If someone is a collector, they would know better how. I could throw it on E-Bay, but rather see on of you get it for your collection. This is the 50th adversary year for Yamalube FYI.

Yes I know my truck needs a wash, they salt the roads here and it is a never ending battle in the winter.

PM is best, I don't look at this thread often.

1992 kdx200 front end. 43mm conventional oil dampened forks, wheel, maybe the caliper. Disc brake upgrade for your project? Tucson AZ.

I'm curious. How did you end up with just a frame V65 frame?

Guy had a V65 he stripped down for parts. Frame and engine are what he had left. I bought the engine and he threw the frame in free, just to get it out of his garage. And my genius thought "Self, if you find a V65 without a title on Craigslist, you can just swap everything over and be good to go. And it's FREE!" That was 8 years ago, and I'm not doing the buy-fix-and-flip thing anymore. No time, and with the time I do have I'd rather ride.... and honestly the V65 isn't my thing anymore. If I'm going to buy-and-flip, it's going to be a bike I've never owned or ridden before, or something I've always wanted. I don't care to do any repeats, except for the 500cc and 650cc Honda CX and GL bikes. (Which I have an unhealthy love affair with)

So yeah, I got it for free just to get it out of his garage. Now I'm giving it away for free, just to get it out of MY garage.

    Charles.
