Used mine off-road a lot. Nothing wrong with the strength and robustness, as long as you don't fit and use a topbox. Suspension will fall long before the rack. Slimline I can understand.

Not real easy. From 10’ it looked ok, but I wasn’t happy with the result. I’m wondering if I can get some Barkbusters guards to fit. I’m now using the HDB plastic and they’re not as ugly as I’d feared. Can’t really tell if the wind protection is much different. I took the mirrors from my WR250R today and am pretty happy with them. Cheaper than Doubletakes…

The mra x-creen spoiler on the oem screen works great for me, I like being able to lower it for dirt, raise it for road riding.

I’ve got one of those, too. The CalSci is the same height as the stock screen plus extended X-Creen, but wider all the way up. It’s nice not having the wind battering my shoulders. But I think it’s going to be unwieldy on dirt.

Darn it, always thought I'd made the right choice with my Rally Red colour choice, then you go and show this :) Well, part of it is the way you put that beauty together

I have the Puig version of what twinrider is using.Does a decent job but a long ride for me is 300 miles.Guessing bigger shield would be better for touring guys.the build quality seems cheap for what it cost.

Pretty cool how Alabama keeps the historic areas black and white.

Mitas E-07 tires? Do you get any front wheel hop at certain speeds?

Since day 1 the E-07's have caused the front to oscillate up/down slightly at around 35mph. I've played around with the suspension settings and have it mostly gone, but still there if I think about it. Heard similar complaints before. They are a great compromise tire, good on/off road.

I really like the E-07's but like others have said, I found that they do not like higher pressure. For general road and gravel riding I run them around 34/30 and they do very well. I never had any wheel hop, just a little squirrely up front until they got settled in. Did you check them on a balancer?

Personally I like the Motion Pro Ergo Spoke Wrench. Cost is about $10.
I also have a RM-ATV Tusk spoke torque wrench. It's not really necessary, but kinda cool.

Tool tip for the day - A spoke wrench in the hands of the untrained can inflict more damage than a sword.
