Horizons Unlimited Ontario 2018 - Rice Lake May 24-27

Horizons Unlimited will be holding their annual Travellers Meeting at a new location this year, the Golden Beach Resort in Rice Lake, Ontario during the May 24-27 long weekend.

If you have never been to a Horizons Unlimited event they are really worthwhile attending. Seminars, technical workshops, factory test rides from Honda and BMW, various vendor booths, bike games, great food and a few hundred like-minded individuals all gathered to share their love of adventure traveling.

There is a wide range of lodgings available, from luxury cabins to camping in the campground, and meal options are all listed as well.

Oliver Solaro (Brokentooth) will be there, and if you are at all familiar with any of his antics you know that he will offer an entertaining tale or two.

It takes place over the May long weekend in Ontario - what a great way to kick off the season!

Several of us local riders are attending the event as a kick-off to the D2D ride this year.

what is the D2D ride?

D2D is an annual ride up to Dawson City, Yukon known as the Dust 2 Dawson ride.

There were some 300 bikes there last year, from all over - Canada, the US, Europe, South America - you name it.

It’s an incredibly beautiful ride to a 1900’s gold mining town.
