I was reminded of my low tire pressure as well this weekend, I should have been more proactive with my pre flight check but the sun came out for the first time in a long time and I was all ass and elbows to go on a ride. didn't get far and the unit told me I better circle around and add some air. Thanks for sharing Mr. Fisherman, drv. :ricky

How is the failure rate for the Super Tenere with the newer bulbs?
I know the earlier bulbs had many failures before the one year warranty.

Really good actually, I don't have a percentage based on bulbs sold but I can tell you that all the warranty failures end up on my work bench. Very few have been Super 10 applications since we release of the 4000 H7. drv

I have your lights on my 800xca and love them. I stumbled across this and I think I am going to order this. It looks and sounds great.

Well Thank You Sir, I run the TPMS on my DL1000 and my 701. It really is nice to see what your tires are doing while you ride. It gives you a margin of safety that you may not have otherwise. Thanks drv. :ricky

I’m not at the bike right now, but what is the size of the small wrench to tighten up the cap? Any source online for them (or similar)? It’s small enough I’d like to put one on my keychain.

I want to upgrade the headlight on my old 2005 KTM 300 EXC. It has the small alternator, 35 or 40 watts I think. I realize it's A/C and requires a rectifier to convert to D/C. I don't want to go to the expense of upgrading the alternator. I plan to add a small battery pack, because the bike doesn't have a battery and the lights turn off immediately when the engine isn't running.

I'd like to get the 7000 lumen bulb, but it draws 50w on High. Will a battery allow me to use this bulb, if I mostly use Low and occasionally use High? Will the bulb be damaged if it doesn't receive the full 50 watts?

Also, will my old style headlight housing be able to accept an H4 bulb? Would I have to change headlight housings? Is there a decent cheapie that will fit my 05'? (I'd like to change the orange plastic to white anyway.)

Ok about to bite the bullet on some lights
    Cheap eBay $300(HID or LED)
    These Long range extremes $550
    Or
    Clearwater Savanas $1000+ OMG
I get you get what you pay for but but
I have the Cyclops LED inserts already so very good spread
Just after a bit more light up the road but don’t want to see two round dots 500 meters up the road as you end up starring at them all night
    Oh dear choices
Anyone seen either of these in action?
They say the give the same distance but 7 leds to one big Lens but slightly smaller light OD
    $500 to $1000
    What to do.
    I’m used to this.

    Thanks

Hello GlennR, on the 2005 KTM 300 we would recommend the 3600 Lumen bulb which is 20W LB and 30W HB, And you are correct it will be AC and require the use of a rectifier. There are also 2 options for the stater on that bike. If you have a single yellow wire this is approximately a 40W stater and 2 yellow wires will be approximately a 100W. with out a proper charging system on the battery the bulb will draw down the battery quickly and once low the bulb will not fire. Thanksdrv.

    Thank you
Have move to email and talking to Sandra
It’s the bloody shipping to Australia that is killing me.
I currently have your 3600 led globe kit the difference to the 4000 kit worth the $150 USD?

Yes understand what you are saying about less power for the other stuff but I have your globes fitted so got some back there
But 50w to 140w is a lot but is it also more light?
Yes understand the the size of the reflector does come into it and feel I’ll get more distance with your light but will it be a round spot up the road ?
Sorry for so many questions just want to get it right as it’s a $800-$1200 exercise to not get it right just want the best possible solution between these two top of the range lights.
    Thanks all
    Hopey

Is there a trick to keeping the notched washer on the bottom of sensor in place while you screw it on valve stem? Every time I go to screw it on it falls off ...... this is very frustrating when you air down and up a lot
