Another weekend of poor officiating. I feel like this year has been the worst I can remember with bad officiating determining outcomes of games. I am so sick of seeing the Cheatriots in the Super Bowl. I hope they get murdered by the Rams.
This Superbowl was fixt ahead of time. PERIOD! Brady and the Patriots will win and both Bellicheat and Brady will both retire.
Yep! Saints no call was to ensure Brees would not be in the Super Bowl. Saints were only ones capable of beating NE, so they were taken out early. Now, NE has a clear shot to the win. Just gotta find the money trail. Chiefs..... mainly Reid....was/is a joke.
I can't believe they didn't try one more toss into the endzone in regulation. They had 11 seconds left. one toss into the endzone. No throwing it anywhere before the endzone, and throw it away if he even sniffs a blitz. Give yourself a chance to avoid OT. Also, they should have had about 15-16 seconds, but for some unexplained reason, Reid let the clock run down before calling a timeout before. I always liked Andy Reid when he coached the Eagles... But it's games like this, that make me not miss him in Philly. I think his clock mismanagement was the single most frustrating thing for a fan with Reid coaching. And as a side note, NFL OT rules suck. It all comes down to who wins a coin toss. Particularly in the case of two teams with great offenses and mediocre defenses, it skews it all the more.
Andy Reid is all you need to know, soon as it went to OT he got the thousand mile stare and watched another loss come.
He threw the game away and the chiefs were going to the superbowl but someone lined up offsides WTF. That's how the Pat's win games....the other teams shoot themselves in the foot.
It’s 17 years since Tom Brady’s first Super Bowl against......the Rams! I wonder if the Pats will get sneaky and spy Rams practices again. Nahhh.....they wouldn’t cheat.
Yeah, you may be right. But, damn! The Saints got absolutely raped. I have no interest in this Superbowl. The NFL got what it wanted. East Coast v. West Coast.
The Saints, like the Chiefs, made some questionable late-game plays that may have doomed their chances to advance. And yes, that was definitely PI! That particular play could encourage the NFL to expand replay or even a ref behind the scene that can overturn obvious no-calls or wrong calls.
Not a fan of either team in the superbowl, but because I'm so tired of the Pats being in it, I'm going to be the Rams' biggest fan not living in L.A.
I'm okay with letting the coaches use one (or more) of their allotted challenges to review any play. I am not okay with them getting additional challenges or having unlimited referee challenges. They have already slowed the game down too much as it is.
