    That was a great video and puts those 450 miles into perspective. I can't wait to get out on one of those rides even on my hefty GSA. As my son gets older I will find more opportunities.

    hello fellow riders, me and a few of my buddies are going to ride this trip here in a few days. I was curious if anyone knew how I could find out if there were any water crossings that would Be impassable?

    I agree. I live next to this area and yes all of the creeks are up. I would guess that many of the crossings are probably to high to cross.

    I was in Arkansas late last week and early this . . . . it was REALLY wet. Many crossings were too crowded with canoes and kayaks to ride across ;-}

    I would imagine it would be the same in Mo.

    Went through the area in 11 and 14 on the way to Mt. View... only saw what the Impala would allow.
    I believe you've got way better roads and stuff than that to share! :rayof

    Well don't think I'll do a SMART this year. I don't want people getting tired of my rides. But the PUCKY will be the 3rd weekend in September. It will get changed up a bit maybe some brand new tracks. I've been busy laying out the Show Me 200 dual sport and Show Me 500 adventure rides. Soon as thats behind me I'll get started on the PUCKY.

    I planning on running this route on April 13 and 14. Can any folks who've been on the ride offer any advice? I'm a hair worried the waters may be too high.

    I've been camping at Suttons Bluff, with no cell service, I'll get back to you soon. Creeks go up and down fast so two or three days without rain and everything is normal.

    It is one hell of a ride.

    A couple of things.

    If you have a flat and you are in the ditch changing a tire the locals may call an ambulance stating they saw some one performing CPR.

    Take an extra bottle or two of fuel or make sure your oversized tank is full when you start.

    Enjoy.

    I should be good to go, I have spare tubes, an oversized tank, and an extra gallon of fuel just in case. I'll be heading out April 12th, wish me luck. I'll do my best to capture some video.
