Does anyone know if there is separate fee rate or pay as you go arrangement for non rally significant others that may accompany registered ticket holders for their meals?

Never mind . Found it. There is but it is currently sold out.

KTM790R received last Wednesday. Rally booked. I'm in! Looking to possibly ride share with someone with truck/trailer coming from the North East. Also considering renting a truck or riding out. Looking forward to it.

Considering riding. But i think romantic notion of riding might lose something going through the mid-west, where roads are flat, straight and the only thing to ponder is how sore my ass is. Still might ride tho.

Been there done that. Riding is still better than driving.
Blue Highways. Find a five calendar cafe in a small town.
    They are out there.

You might consider an upgrade to your new 790 seat before you ride to Breckenridge CO.
It made a world of difference on the 500 and 690.

Does anyone who attended previous KTM rallies know if there are seminars or lectures on riding options or riding places (like a lecture on riding Baja)?

I did 670 miles last weekend on my 790. Pretty good seat as is. I am going to upgrade to Seat Concepts cover and foam.

Not from the organizers. However I know vendors and the employees frequent Baja.
Sounds like something you would find easier at Overland Expo or similar.

I only have 400+ miles on mine. Just picked it up a couple weeks ago. But the seat feels good so far. I'm sure cross country will be a real test, but so far, so good.

I'd be starting from southern Michigan on a 701; up for either riding or trailering at this point. Anyone out there still looking for riders or passengers to share the journey?

I'm leaning towards riding out from Massachusetts. Long ride. Be good to have some company.

@SeatConcepts will be at the event. They typically do installs. I would check with them to confirm. At lease your return will be comfy. ;)

I've been really fighting the urge to ride out to the event but if a group ride came to be I'd probably sign up. You guys planning on laying down the miles and get there asap?

The ride isn't the issue. I'd have to ship some fresh rubber to the sister in laws place in Denver, then spoon them on and balance. Then do the ride/race and get back to work within a week of leaving. Just doesn't sound like much fun but riding out with a group might make it a little more appealing.
