First road race bike

My first bike was a 1965 Yamaha YG-1 80cc rotary valve two stroke exactly like this one. Paid $175 in 1966. Came equipped with street & trail sprockets and a heavy ass solid chrome steel Bates brand bolt on skid plate under motor. Between my Dad, Brother and myself we rode this little bike everywhere; street, trails etc. Sold it for $165 when I bought my new 1969 Hodaka Ace 100. New owner promptly seized this bike a week later when he ran it out of Autolube injector oil and tried to get me to refund his money. Moron!

I was still at school and it was too far to bike on my treadly.

Put some trail tyres and took it everywhere. Wish I still had it.

My first bike was this Yamaha FZX700.
Think it was from 1986(?)
I wanted it since the age of ten or something.
I was way to tall for it, but could’t care less haha!

First dirt bike rm 125/140 i Bought in 2000 first street bike . 89 ninja 600r i bought in 94 and still have it. 20k on the odometer.
