How about a short 3-4-5 day ride, over a week end. Leave from GTA, up to Abitibi Canyon, via the Tobermory Ferry, Espanolla/ Spanish/#17, then north on Westbranch/Fire Roads to #11/ Kap then 634 to the Fraserdale/Canyon then south to Smooth Rock Falls and Home/GTA Via North Bay or return via the ferry. (camping, route is open for suggestions) I just picked up a new bike !! a 2019 KTM 690 Enduro R, have all the new "farkels" installed, so am sorta thinking of doing this trip anytime in the last 3 weeks in September. The weather should be good, coolish, no bugs ! Anyone Interested?
Interested ... May not be able to get out for a week due to work commitments.... Though always up for a weekend or day trips.....BTW...KTM690 ER... Awesome pick!

I'm near Mindemoya. I'll be on my Xchallenge, I dont trust my GSPD quite yet to go that far with it. I've done the Canyon on a sled, would be neat to see it without snow and from the road.

Rode up to Abitibi late one season and ran into some weather, made the first half pretty slick as the road was well used and muddy. Not a b ig drama. Bit cool. We managed to stay warm. Great trip.
