KTM 790 Adv accessories, Modifications and Upgrades

Please can some one give me more info on the cat delete pipe, who/where/how much and what exactly does it do, is the "box" an empty resonance box or contain material that mimics the cat?

If you are referring to the Arrow version it may be better to contact them directly.
The part number is 71719MI for the decat pipe.
The one on this site doesn’t offer any detail either I’m afraid but looks very similar.

At ~$400 USD for the rack and panniers this is by far the cheapest hard luggage set up available.

Saw those in person. "cheapest" is a good description for price and build.
I did not get a good look at the alum panniers though. Just describing the soft items.

Ok so after a day in the saddle on perfect gravel “rally” roads i would say 15/46 is to low geared.
It works but I find myself shifting gears way to much.
Might be handy on single tracks etc but for fast paced gravel I’d stick to stock’ish gearing.

Mitas E-12/13 works great. Decent on road, perfect on the sand/rocks/gravel surface.

Shorter levers... meh I don’t use the clutch that much anyways and front brake was never an issue to begin with. But hey, I look good parked :)

The bike is killer, a joy to ride and makes my mediocre riding skill look decent!

What soft items? The panniers and racks are all made of metal.

They revealed these and a few other sizes of soft luggage at the ADV Rally. Looks like they got ideas from Wolfie and Mosko with some of the features

I ordered the Diamante top with carbon sides - my concern is that the grippy will be a bit too grippy.

Those soft bags look really good, but.. the racks are $189, plus $199 for the bags = $388. Add their soft pannier mounts for $119 = 507.

I love my Seat Concepts seat on my 500EXC. Not at all on my Honda CB500X. For me, the SC is NOT a longer distance seat.

This is only for the S model, it's a seat kit. So they send you foam and a cover and you install it on your current seat base. This is one reason it's so much cheaper than some other aftermarket seats.

Migolito, sure hope I have a different experience with mine, since longer rides are the whole reason I'm doing this.

I posted up re my seat. It's a custom seat from Mr Ed's Moto. They literally make it as you wait, custom to your butt. I have about 1000 miles on it now, and will do follow up after my cross country ride this Jan.

They also released a 1" taller seat for the R which is a complete seat only. I am a big SC fan as I have them on 3 of my 6 KTMs but I a going with the KTM optional tall enduro seat. I think the shape is going to work better for me.

I agree with this comment. I just fitted Ian Chappel's skid plate too. Much better than OEM.

Nothing to catch under the plate. Second photo shows it does not rest on the engine. It does not bolt to the engine either.
