Second new watch day in a week. I've been wanting one of these for years. I found a fairly priced one on eBay and used that 15% deal last weekend.

It's a Citizen "Courageous" perpetual calendar diver. Photos cannot capture the true look of this watch. It's amazing in person.

I think October needs to be "no new toys month" [emoji38]3

Kate's son and his wife may now be joining us. Her son likes watches, but he hasn't yet caught the mechanical watch bug. Maybe we can infect him tonight. :lol3

Agreed. I'd pay a few bucks more for that.

I’ve been after one of these fully lumed Citizens for a few years now but the prices for them second hand on eBay had gotten out of control. I was able to snag a brand new one from an Italian website for a really nice price and it just showed up yesterday. I immediately took it off the stock rubber strap and onto a nice seatbelt Zulu singlepass.

I know, right? The new "great white" Seikos are incredible, but I already have 3 turtles and a samurai.

Very nice! I had the black dial version of that. It had a deep, inky black dial, was extremely comfortable, and kept perfect time. Loved it.

One quirk, the 12 o'clock marker looks like a pair of underpants. Now that you've seen that, you'll never un-see it. You're welcome [emoji38]3

I've been wanting a great white edition. I haven't seen one in person and that's probably a good thing. I also like the gray Samurai.

I saw one at Macy's last weekend. It's even better in person.

I'm thinking of cutting a few loose soon. The STO turtle and samurai, a Citizen BN0151 and Nighthawk, bunch of straps and bracelets...

Me too. A Pogue is a must for me. Doesn't have to be original. I'm after the look.

We had our monthly watch event last night and Breitling was the sponsor. I tried on one their new “Mosquito” models. This is a picture from this review.

Loved the watch but the bezel is friction-only. I like clicks or stops personally but it’s not a show stopper if someone wants to gift it to me. :amazon
