    The traffic through Taihape has already increased noticeably. I have to wait for traffic now to cross the road:dunno

    I would think so, I would also expect the River road and Fields Track road to get a bit busier ad well.

    You're lucky, you missed the Ski traffic...

    They're suggesting Fields Track as the detour. I just hope they don't "improve" i.e. ruin it.

    I have to say that Sky Sport have done a great (although long overdue) job with organising their channels.
    Channel 55 is the designated motorsports channel, so you don't have to figure out where the MotoGP is hiding from race to race.
    They are also playing heaps more coverage of MotoGP, ALL the practices and even the warm up.

    Even better, they are showing world championship trials and enduro.
    Sky Speed is a pretty good effort as well.

    Apparently sky does a Bathurst fanpass for non-subscribers to watch a stream for $15.
