FWIW, Rider magazine’s online article states the Rally comes with an “off-road specific air filter from KTM PowerParts”. First I’d heard of that one.

so, FWIW, in summary it appears your extra $5k USD for the Rally gets you WP Pro suspension, the Akrapovic, rally pegs, air filter, dirt star rims, rally seat, and Quickshifter.

Are you trying to justify its ridiculous price tag for you or practicing your speech to momma? [emoji23]

nah - i already got full, excited approval. It’s still significantly cheaper than the GS Rally I just sold. I guess it’s all relative.

that, I hadn’t seen - that would be great if it does. My dealer said it doesn’t. Guess we’ll see.

It’s on the website under software and electronics for the rally, plus there is a blog on the ktm site that highlights the differences between the standard, R and Rally that says it comes with it.

Along those same lines the pictures of the rally bars under ergo and comfort show the cruise vs the pics or the R where the switch pod doesn’t have the cruise.

Hopefully the site and info is accurate and I’m not building false hope for you. [emoji6]

I was interested in getting bmw hp2 but since than had xhange of heart
Now i want to get rally.
I am in New York. Anyone here closer to me knows any good dealer that can hook me up.
If not I will purchase R and upgrade suspension.
But I have a feeling. Ktm dealers with botch this whole booking and delivery of rally.

I have no first hand knowledge so this is just a wild ass guess, but with less than 100 coming to the US (rumor estimates range from 50-80), and with the Rally public announcement now going on many many months, I suspect no dealer is getting a Rally that is probably not already spoken for with at least one, if not several waiting in line in case someone backs out. My advice is get on the phone and start calling dealers. They’ve all reportedly been informed if they are getting one or not. Then start putting a small deposit down in case someone backs out when they see the OTD price tag and faint. You might get lucky too by calling around. Might have to fly and ride or have it shipped. Good luck.

Gold Coast is getting one. Not sure if it’s spoken for already. The only other 2 in the NE have deposits on them.

KTM Spain confirmed today I'm in the list for the new 790 Rally. Yes, today a los of conversations with friends about its price and bla bla bla but you know... I'm excited with my future bike. End of February, I hope.

Well, the Dealer I have been talking to had one and one of his customers said they wanted it but had no money down.
It took almost 3 weeks for him to get back, but the guy finally put money down so I'm still looking

If anyone hears of one (slim chance) please let me know.
