On Monday I decided I would do a day trip to Death Valley on Tuesday. Tuesday morning I read Tim's blog that he was in Sunset Campground, so I decided to stop and say HI. He had just gotten back from hiking and we talked fir about an hour. Nice guy. Here he is next to my bike and his beautiful van. 20200121_141226.jpg 20200121_141231.jpg

Yep, your latest vid was excellent “just like me”! I streamed it to the tv when I had the house to myself the other night (don’t want my wife tempted by those good looking single guys roaming about the country!). Enjoy!

Mr Tewster, if you get bored with all that desert, I will be ice camping on Lake Alice in Tomahawk, WI the 12th through the 20th of February. Ice fishing, and snowmobiling on my new to me 150hp Yamaha Apex. Home brews and fresh caught (if lucky) fish fry are on the menu.

Got about 35,000 on the van. All good so far. I’m gonna check out Slab City and the Salton Sea after the King of the Hammers off road races this weekend.

Like everything else including my KTM1190, it has a throttle. Just because it can go that fast, doesn’t mean you have to...when I was much younger, I thought it was a toggle switch. Somehow I lived through those years.

Thanks Patrick! Finding decent internet on the road is challenging so the post take a bit of improvisation haha. I’m headed to some pretty neat places in the next few weeks so stay tuned.
