Ok, i was going to clean up and repack my ebay pipes but there was an Arrow exhaust and a hacksaw staring at me. I hope this works! What was the consensus on the lambda probe?

What are you going to do with the heat shield? Mine is ungly like hell right now and i am thinking about also cutting it

Mine is too. Starting to crack too, but it is needed to keep the heat from your boots. Haven't found a solution yet.

On my SD with the Barrett mufflers the oem heat shield does not fit anymore which is a good thing as it weighs a ton. After burning a hole in my pants leg I made this up. Couple of clamps with 6mm nuts welded on and used the oem heat shield bolts. Heat shield was panel beaten from an old piece of aluminium out of the scrap pile.

It worked! Baffle has to be in though, way too loud without.

Anyone know if there is an aftermarket or updated clutch switch for the RS650. Is there a part number from places like RS components.

Just bypass it.

Yeah several people mention that as well. I stalled it up a rocky single track today and couldn't re-start the bike until I keep pulling and releasing the clutch several times.

They start better in neutral anyway, well mine does.

Also mine, wayyy better :) (at least at cold)

hehehe true, but i am now pro on doing it, in the morning and cold sometimes takes a bit, on stop lights if you rev it a bit its easy.
But its an italian quirk (te630 its the same) i can live with because the other things are so nice (like innathyzit i have a heavly moded rs650 that just eats dirt)

What's the small tank bag that you've got fitted in that pic? Seems to sit neatly with the Safari tank.

Nice. Thanks for the reply. I'll check them out. All the standard tank bags seem to big and cumbersome to fit the Safari, but this seems to sit nicely.
