There are two adjustment point for the p-brake.
You can make minor adjustments at the lever.
Major adjustments are made at the caliper:

I've seriously considered removing my parking brake apparatus. In 40k miles I've only used it to slow the wheel speed while lubing the chain. Anyone ever removed theirs?

I'm thinking that there must be away to disable the ABS both front and back. My KTM 690 enduro allows me to disable both ends. I'm not a champion off road rider and I like no aids in the dirt. Riding down a dirt road you may have difficulty stopping.

I really don't find the front ABS intrusive offroad. If I get to that point in the dirt, I'm already overextending myself...

I like front ABS on hard pack, and light gravel. Didn't take much to get the feel of it.
Seems faster and with better control, than me trying to figure out threshold in a critical situation.

Having a trigger, like is used for traction control, would be great for those times it really helps to have it turned off quickly.
For me, probably better than 90% of the time, the front ABS can stay on.
The bike is really heavy, and very beautiful. Would be nice not to drop and scratch it up. :-)

and IGNORE the factory manual. it shows the spacers being REVERSED.

i never trust the parking brake, and don't want to park my bike downhill unless the front tire is wedged to a berm or sidewalk.

Are you guessing that will work or have you done the mod?
My experience with ABS problem is different, expecially with DCT.

Can the tubeless wheels on the CRF1100 be used interchangeably with the CRF1000? I think its been asked before but I didn't see an answer.

Hi there. I have a 19 AT and have the same concern as you. What's your resolution?

There are some write ups on the internet about why not.. however, you can always disconnect the + side of your battery and jump the bike using the cable, not the battery. Once running, the bike will keep running while you hook up your disconnected terminal.

Sunday I went on a ride with my buddy on his new KTM 790R Adventure. Gorgeous machine, but not selling my Twin:) Anyway, (this is particularly for us NA market folks) he just mounted up some turn signals/indicators from Cyclops. They are fantastic! Much safer, much more modern looking, bright and compact. When you apply the brakes the rear turn signals/indicators flash red twice before settling into conventional brake lights! How cool is that? Since we got the giant, dated giraffe ossicones on our NA market bikes theses would be fantastic for a number of reasons. Sadly, they don't make them. I called and they seemed interested and willing to pursue bringing them to market, but they need to feel there's a market (seems much larger than the 790, butI don't know). I think emails and phone calls would help. They picked up the phone immediately when I called.

They also make a brilliant universal TPMS (tire pressure management system) that I ordered. Check it out. They have aux lighting for our bikes as well.

    Cheers!

Anyone have double take mirrors on your AT? I just bought he adventure mirrors to replace the stock ones and I don’t think the 10mm ball mounts will fit in my stock mirror screw holes. Do I need a different thread pitch?

I figured it out. I was only unscrewing one of the two bolts.
