You should try to SuperMoto Rosie's Toes w 17"s all around off of R/RS/RT - you may like it more than riskin' to break stuff off-roadin'... :D

    I don't think that's my style:

okay...that is pretty cool looking but I would never do it to Rosie. Looks like an ad for "don't skip leg day"

Standard T-25, that every R1200GS owner should have.

Rear wild isn't bad. Mileage and traction. Front like tkc 80. Not as noisy. Im sure the 90% guys will say avoid that area since you're not in it 100% of the time. Big bike knobbies handle fine on road. YMMV

Hoping to get some ideas: I have a 2011 GSA 40k miles and when I hit the start button it will barely turn over. Almost like the battery is dead. The battery is a basic acid unit, 2 years old, has a complete charge and is showing 12.7 volts. The terminals are clean and dry, with the connecting fasteners tight. Any ideas? TIA

Two years old battery? Depending on the make, that may be all you'll get out of it, sorry...

    Time to get shoppin'...

When NP died in early January we all should have realized that 2020 was just going to SUCK. No adventure about it.

Test the battery under load. That will give to a better assessment of its condition.

The voltage is low - fully charged it should be 12.8 or better.
    Get the battery load tested.

In May of 2019, a large vendor called me up and said "thanks to your post on ADVRider, we haven't sold a single one of these _____ in a month so can you please help us fix this for you so we can go back to selling them"

Now...I"m not some subject matter expert but I wonder if posts about batteries having low voltage lead to hundreds of people going out and testing their batteries under load, seeing sub-12.8 and then going out and buying new batteries. Like is there a sale correlation to 1 person on ADVRider having a battery issue and hundreds of batteries sold the next day?

I wish we could track that sort of data.

Kind of like people buying up side-stand switch protectors after one guy had his get broken off-road. Before this vendor told me they had a sales crisis, I honestly didn't think that ADVRider drove (or hurt) so many sales when a "common issue" appeared out of nowhere.

I was in the military, and have worked with the 24 hour clock most of my life. I just never saw the benefit for civilian purposes. I mean, I can tell day from night without a clock. :-)

not quite the point I was trying to make (thanks anyway :) ) but I mean in general. ADVRider Inmates just going out and buying something after one post about a problem or issue. Gotta be huge!
