As I remember, the splines are the same. The lima housing on later bikes and 12 Volt XT can be different. But with being a XT steel shifter, you can heat it up and bend as needed.

This a XT600 from a 3TB motor and the short TT600 Aluminum version.

WOW, THANK YOU VERY, VERY MUCH!! Well, absolutely noticeable difference between the two, though my TT-RE's stock lever is different (and seems longer than the aluminium one you posted).

Will try to source the XT 600's lever for a fair price, thought it might be difficult. Thank you very much for all your help!!

This is a aluminum shifter. See if you can get the length from the seller.

For a TT600R (2000), are the following specs for the front wheel bearing and seal correct:
BALL BEARING 6003-2RS. 17-35-10 & OIL SEAL(4DA) 22x35x5mm

Does anyone know the size for the rear bearings and seals?

Hi guys and girls!

I'm a new TTR owner, and it's the most fun bike I've owned so far.

The bike is a 1999 Belgarda TT600R.
It's currently in supermoto trim but it's got all the parts to build it back to original, which is what I'm doing.

I also already have my first question, and I'm sure someone can help me.
Is it possible to easily install a cushdrive on these bikes?
A RE wheel might fit but those are quite rare in Holland...

I do have great luck all-round, but, sometimes, I hit the jackpot:


Just snapped the top of the exhaust valve cover on my 2004 TT 600 RE.. This is the part:



Does any of you have a suggestion on how to get if off? Dunno, weld another bit to and try to unscrew? Drill holes to try and get a hold of it? Try to break it to pieces? I also thought about using some Nural paste, which then hardens up just enough to reuse or enable unscrewing..

Any advice is appreciated.
