I realized on Friday that I hadn't properly washed my Sportster in months. Spent 3 hours cleaning it and checking it over. Even waxed the entire frame, seat and tank off! Not a great shot but it wouldn't stop reflecting!
Really? Compared to what? I see plenty of other Harley OEM and aftermarket pegs that are that expensive too. I've got a set on one of our V7's abd think they're solid/quality.
What is the luggage rack you have on there? Looking to add a couple of soft bags/messenger style to my 2018 1200 custom which has the same rear setup
Agreed, those are machined, and they’ve gotta recoup the cost of the setup for what must be fairly small numbers. Price seems fair to me.
That sounds cheap to me. Were they decent? At that price it's expect cheaper metal and poor finish or the like.
Edward Richie on Etsy. He’ll make whatever you like. I believe it was called the traveler and I don’t remember the height I know I had him make it a little bit shorter than the standard height that he advertises Does quality custom work in bare or black finishes.
No, not those. Similar to these, but not chrome: They look like a copy of the HD mini-floorboards on the 1200T. Edit: price has gone up, but this is a dead ringer except for the name: https://www.denniskirk.com/v-factor...734.prd/4909734.sku?rdmid=459&rdadid=12568810
They're some cheapo HD bag support knockoffs from eBay. Had to add my own hardware as what it came with was pot metal. The hoops themselves are decent quality.
Sounds like a lot of the cheap crash bars. Bar is fine (though chrome quality varies wildly), hardware is crap.
I hear you and I get it, but, the but more material and the more complicated, v and the better material.. And....
Knightdesigns forward control brackets to lower the pegs. These were on my sidecar rig when I bought it. $80.
A simple chunk of machined anodized(?) aluminum versus a painted mini-floorboard with a rubber insert? I re-checked my records-they were actually sixty bucks, not fifty.
