Like the pipes, one on the other side, right? Reminds me of the Kaw triple with two chambers on the right, one on the left. Were those stock pipes?

    Good timeless look for sure.

Actually just on the left. Yes, they're stock. Kinda reminds me of the Rocket Three.....

A buddy used to have one and I rode it a few times. Great bike with good character. Loved the triple!! Almost bought it from him. Not sure why I didn't?

I’ve owned a lot of bikes, some weird ones too, but this one might be the weirdest.

I just bought an 06 Royal Enfield military, pre unit engine construction same as Redditch built in the fifties. The plan is to build it into a vintage trials bike with parts available from Hitchcock.

Picked up the new 3rd generation 2022 Grom SP 10 days ago
    • 1st oil change interval performed at mile 602 and averaged 134.5 mpg over that period.
    • I changed the new for 22 oil filter too despite the manual not calling for it until the 8000 mile interval.
    • The new for 22 site glass window is convenient and much appreciated.
    • The stock seat is comfortable and much wider than previous generations.
    • On urban city roads the new 5 speed gearing keeps me out ahead of everyone's way nicely.
    • The stock handle bars are higher now and more inviting for non-vertically challenged riders.
    • The stock exhaust is peaceful at speed for neighborhood jaunts. I once heard a mouse behind a wall farting in a cotton ball that was louder.
    • It's stock, save for a fender delete and integrated tail light replacement.
    • I kept the rear OEM turn signals which parallel the integrated turn signals for added conspicuousness and also use the pre-programed triple flash feature when the brakes are applied.
A lot of 4-way stops around my area have been re-fashioned into roundabouts creating mini slalom opportunities.

Low maintenance, high efficiency, and tons of fun around town. I've become quite smitten with this new little ankle biter.

That 134.5 mpg seems a little low...

Only thing I'm not entirely sure of is the first tank read full on the dash when I took possession of the bike but the dealership filled it, not me. I'm assuming it was full. I didn't open the gas cap and look in the tank.

If that's low, what should the first 600 miles have averaged?

I did a twofer this month. Sold the ktm 350 excf and Klr650 and bought a ktm 1190r and a bmw r1200rt. I won't disclose prices as I stole them both in my opinion. I got them all serviced and they have been great so far. Now for some trip planning!

Just love those cylinders... Imagine another couple on there like a bow tie! I just love the radial cylinder set up,

I saw the R18 in the showroom a couple weeks ago. Beautiful bike. And those cylinders are massive. They were like a well endowed woman wearing something low-cut and you trying not to stare... :-)

Does the SP having anything over the regular GROM, or just an appearance package?
