It depends on which period. The Warrior, which is the one that Mark was referring to, was Indian designed and built.

I would love to try a Springfield and a Super Chief. Both beautiful bikes n their own ways. I would buy either one in a heaetbeat if it suited me.

Do you all remember the mom & pop dealers? Hardly any bikes on the floor. Buyers in the springtime putting down deposits and waiting months for bikes to arrive. No choice of color.

Now a days you can go into a dealer any month and see a variety of models and colors. Lots of accessories & clothing, too. Both bring in people year round for small sales and occasional impulse motorcycle sales.

To the OP’s original question: I’d buy an Indian, but only the Challenger at this time. I ride touring bikes, mostly, and I’m finished riding bikes that have air cooled engines. I test-rode a Challenger and thought it was strong, well-made, fun to ride.

Sorry. I don't like or use that stuff, so it's kind of terms I don't try to remember. Most often my bars get changed out to something with more of an early Triumph T-120 bar like the old K&N model 13 and for my old Wings I used the CB750 Custom bars, which had a similar bend, but a bit bigger. I don't find the need to air out my pits or scoop up bugs in my sleeves. :lol3

Then I also don't do forward mount pegs, preferring pegs nearly under my butt so I can stand up and fart. :D :nono
